Áureo Ethics, Values, Mission, and Vision
Ethics in the Psychedelic Space
Áureo is committed to creating and evolving an organization based on the ethical practice of medicine with and without non-ordinary states of consciousness work. We continually strive to improve our methods, practices, and teachings as well as provide transparency and collaboration with patients, providers, and community members.
We highlight here some of the most critical and fundamental ketamine-assisted therapy ethical guidelines and invite you to review the following document published in the Journal of Psychedelic Psychiatry on Ethical Guidelines for Ketamine Clinicians: https://www.kriyainstitute.com/wp-content/uploads/JPP-Ethical-Guidelines-for-Ketamine-Clinicians.pdf.
We aspire to be compassionate, thoughtful, honest, and forthright in all of their personal and professional communications.
We have received special training and mentorship in working with therapeutic ketamine.
We recognize that there are different approaches to ketamine treatment, and that each approach has advantages and drawbacks. We strive to be skillful in the specific treatment(s) that we offer.
We strive to be honest and transparent in marketing our services.
We ctively try to make therapeutic ketamine accessible to members of the community who do not have the financial resources to pay for the treatment that they need.
We regularly read the newly published literature and participate in continuing education to stay abreast of the latest developments in this rapidly growing field.

The Artist
Liz Gold is an artist and writer living in Portland, Oregon. Liz discovered her true calling - to make beautiful things and put them out into the world to inspire others to do the same - while taking psilocybin to treat depression. She heard messages from spirit to start painting, had a vision of herself painting at an easel in her garage and as a result, picked up a paintbrush in April 2021. Her mixed media abstract paintings are all intuitive, drawing together feelings of nostalgia, emotion, movement and transformation. See more of her work or contact her via her website.
